Return Policy

How to send a product back: the deadline for each range, the steps to follow, who pays for shipping and how you are refunded.

Contents

This page describes how returns work in practice. It complements our terms and conditions of sale, which remain the binding document: where the two differ, the terms prevail.

First things first: apply no glue, and do not open a sealed Service Pack, for as long as you are considering a return. Both are irreversible and permanently rule out an exchange.

1. Deadlines at a glance

  • Repair parts (screens, batteries, connectors): 90 days of warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Sealed Service Packs: 14 days for an exchange, seal intact. Once opened they are neither taken back nor exchanged.
  • Accessories without a third-party brand: 6 months of warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Major-brand accessories and phones: the manufacturer's warranty, claimed from the brand.
  • Right of withdrawal (consumers, all products): 14 days from receipt, no reason needed.
  • Legal guarantee of conformity (consumers): 2 years from delivery.

All of these run from the date the order is received, except the statutory guarantee, which runs from delivery of the goods.

2. The three types of return

Every request is logged as one of these three types. The type sets the deadline, who pays for shipping and what outcomes are possible.

2.1 Return

You are sending back a product you no longer want, with nothing wrong with it: a consumer withdrawal, or a sealed Service Pack still within its window. The product must be complete, unopened where that applies, and resellable as it stands.

Outcome: a refund.

2.2 Warranty

The product has a manufacturing defect that appeared within the warranty period. The request goes through a workshop inspection that either confirms the fault or does not.

Outcome: replacement first, a refund where no replacement is possible.

2.3 Exchange

You need a different reference: a compatibility error on our side, or a sealed Service Pack delivered under a reference other than the one ordered.

Outcome: we ship the correct reference and settle any price difference either way.

3. Opening a return, step by step

3.1 Write to us

Contact customer service at taqwaservices2021@gmail.com or on 09 51 82 16 70. Do not ship anything before you have heard back from us.

3.2 What your message needs to contain

  • Your order number, as shown under "My orders".
  • The product reference and the quantity concerned.
  • The reason: a fault, a withdrawal, or a wrong reference.
  • For a fault: a short video showing the problem on a device whose remaining hardware works. A video almost always saves a round trip of questions.

3.3 Getting your return number

If the request is admissible we open a return and give you its number. That number must be visible on the parcel and repeated on the note inside it.

A parcel that arrives without a return number cannot be matched to an order. It may be refused and sent back at your expense.

4. Packing and shipping the return

  • Put the product back in its original packaging, with the antistatic protection and any accessories it came with.
  • Do not remove or alter the inspection labels and markings: they are what ties the part back to your order.
  • Pack it inside an outer box. A screen shipped in a plain envelope arrives broken, and transit breakage is not covered.
  • Use a tracked service and, for valuable items, an insured one.

4.1 Who pays for the return leg

  • Legal guarantee of conformity: ours. We provide a prepaid label.
  • Our mistake (wrong reference shipped, wrong compatibility on the product page): ours.
  • Commercial warranty: the return leg is yours, reshipping the replacement is ours.
  • Withdrawal: yours.

We cannot compensate for a parcel lost or damaged on its way to us — which is exactly why the service should be tracked.

5. Inspection and decision

On arrival the return is logged and passed to the workshop. Inspection normally happens within five (5) working days.

  • Pending: the parcel has arrived, inspection has not happened yet.
  • Approved: the fault is confirmed, or the return is admissible. The refund or replacement is set in motion.
  • Rejected: the fault is not found, or it falls under an exclusion. We explain why and send the product back; the reshipping cost is then yours.
  • Completed: the refund or replacement has been carried out.

You are emailed at every change of status.

6. Refunds, credit and replacements

6.1 Refund

Refunds go back to the payment method used for the order — card or bank transfer. Allow a few extra working days for your bank to show it.

For a withdrawal, the refund is made no later than 14 days after we recover the product or receive proof of its dispatch, and covers the standard outbound delivery charge.

6.2 Store credit

If you prefer, the amount can be held as credit on your customer account and taken off a later order. Credit is never imposed: it applies only if you ask for it.

6.3 Replacement

This is the usual outcome of a warranty claim: the product is replaced with an identical new item, or an equivalent one if the reference is no longer available. It ships as soon as the inspection is validated.

7. What we cannot take back

  • Broken, cracked or shattered screens, whatever the cause.
  • Lines, streaks or blotches that appeared after an impact, pressure or a pinched flex cable.
  • Any product to which glue or adhesive has been applied.
  • Liquid damage, corrosion, over-voltage, electrostatic discharge.
  • Parts whose inspection label or marking has been removed or altered.
  • Service Packs whose seal has been opened, unless we shipped the wrong reference.
  • Major-brand accessories and phones, which fall under the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Installation damage: torn flex cable, ripped-off connector, over-tightened screw.
  • Normal wear, in particular the gradual capacity loss of a battery.

These exclusions apply to our commercial warranties. They do not reduce the statutory guarantees set out below.

8. Your statutory rights

Whatever the range, and even where the commercial warranty does not apply, consumers have the legal guarantee of conformity (2 years from delivery), the guarantee against hidden defects (2 years from discovering the defect) and the right of withdrawal.

These rights are set out in articles 9 and 10 of the terms and conditions of sale. Nothing on this page can remove or reduce them.

Taqwa Services handles every request on that basis: if your situation falls under a statutory guarantee, it takes precedence over our commercial deadlines, including once those have expired.
